Marine Design with T-Splines

Gerard Petersen, of RhinoCentre in the Netherlands, has written an interesting blog post on marine design with Rhino, T-Splines, and Orca3D. T-Spline's flexibility in surface modeling allows for the creation of all sorts of complex shapes, be they hull forms or superstructure, and integration with Orca3D means that you can treat T-Spline surfaces just as you would any Rhino surface, for sections, lines plans, hydrostatic and stability, resistance prediction, or weight and cost tracking.
